Five,two vs A,Q

Tonight I played at Pj Whelihans Walbert. I made a Phil Helmuth Jr type entrance by being about 20 minutes late. No worries. I was blinded out two hands so I was only down three bucks. (we start with $200) I came in just as it was my turn to deal, they were still at 1,2 blinds. First hand I deal myself pocket Queens. There was raise before me to $20. A few callers and I decided to just call. (I just got there and had no feel for the table) Well, for the second week in a row, I end up getting quads. I didn’t get paid off to much but it was a great way to start. It was the highlight of the night because after that not to much happened.  I did make it to the final table and came in 9th out of 45 though. I went out when blinds were $25-$50 and I was down to $350. I had A,Q.  Under the gun raised to 100.  I went all in and blinds folded. Under the gun hesitates and decides to call. he flips up 5,2. That’s right 5,2. not suited just 5,2. Flop 5,9,8. Turn A. River 2. And I’m done. Unbelievable. Some of my “friends” were going off on the guy for playing such garbage. No one likes the guy to begin with. (It was Joel to those of you who know) Well what are you to do. I’ll get him next time.

The same douchebag who took me out when I flopped trips – he had bottom pair (J 6, the flop 10 Q 6) and hit runner runner for the straight.

Wanted to punch him right in the mouth.
